That's why my kid is named after him.

This man continues to impress me. 5 years ago I named my newborn after him (Ephraim Duke Cadel Giesbrecht).

And this is the reason why. Doing the rainbow jersey proud.

  1. I'm not surprised the ex-world mtb champ was at ease in today's mud. He's hard not to like...at least when he's happy.

  2. That's two stages where he's been aggressive. I am loving the 'new' Evans. Doing the Rainbow jersey proud. And 1:12 back? He's still in it.

  3. Totally still in it. That was a great race - epic in a way that satisfies both of Mike's definitions for the term. ahhh...good memories(?)of riding on that pissy day at RMNP.

Who doesn't despise Vino by the way?

  4. That was a grand day out. As I recall, pretty much everybody was mad at me by the time we found our cars.

  5. Yeah, that one goes down as one of the most epic rides EVER...and for the wrong reasons. At the end I was too tired to feel any kind of emotion.

  6. I like vino. I like epic too. The other definition- only if I've had a few too many. (or about to)

  7. I don't despise Vino. In fact, I quite enjoy watching him race.

  8. Mike, it was I who yelled "nice bike" from my comfy car on Henderson, right before the Chief Peguis bridge. Sorry for scaring you. I shaved. You need to show up at at TNR.
