  1. Where is that? Duck Mountain? Manitoba Escarpment?
Pembina Valley? or is it a road trip? Quapelle Valley Sask?

  2. A ride from your place to Garbage Hill for 39 climbs in succession?

  3. That would be the Galibier France.
I was wondering about roseisle for some climbing. Maybe Falcon lake?
    Who's in?

  4. There are 2 races scheduled for April 26th—Grand Beach (mtb) and BHP (road). We could celebrate a week early...would be great training for whatever race we choose to do on the 26th.

  5. I like KK's idea - kick-starts the racing season, and gives something to work toward over the next while (boy, I got a lot of catching up to do in a short time...)

  6. Doing it a week early would be good. Could still be snowy- so mountain might be good. I'd really like to do some bigger hills- Birch is open to those with mca licenses and a birch pass(25$ i think) So maybe Falcon Lake ? A saturday afternoon? Larry, no worries, beer will be in the parking lot-never far away. The alternative could be 39 laps around the car....

  7. 39 kms??? Men like us should be talking 39 miles. This is in April. We did 50 km in February. Mike's would only be 10 more kms. The Whiteshell is nice, probably not much traffic in April.

  9. I was thinking Falcon would be the better option as I'm sure not all will have the requisite Birch pass. Given there are road races there with some climbing involved we could potentially do either road or mtb. We'll have to play the weather by ear.

Once a date is set, I'll add it to the RRR calendar. It would be nice if Coach Enns could be a part to the mix (if we went on the 19th it could be his first coaching session—ETS Trainright).

  10. We could ride the two lane from Falcon to West Hawk and then north on 44. Mike and I rode there a few years back on a fall weekend. There are some nice hills.
